What gets recorded when you read these pages
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Introduction
This page explains what this site records when you visit, what it does with that record, and what it does not do. It applies to this website only, not to the retailer pages that product links lead to.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not take payment on this site. Standard web-server records may include your IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you opened. If you send the contact form or the newsletter form, neither is connected to a mail server at present, so nothing you type in them is stored or transmitted.
Cookies
We set one small local record to remember whether you dismissed the cookie notice, so you are not asked twice. Analytics scripts may set their own cookies to count visits and measure which pages hold attention. Block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site still works without them.
Third-Party Links
Product links lead to a third-party retailer, which applies its own privacy policy and sets its own cookies once you arrive. We have no access to what you do there beyond aggregate commission reporting, which does not identify individual visitors to us.
Security
We serve this site over an encrypted connection and keep the software behind it current. No website can promise absolute security, so treat anything you send over the internet accordingly.
Children's Privacy
This site is meant for adults buying propagation equipment. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes to Policy
We revise this page when the site changes. The revision date shows the current version, and material changes appear here rather than by individual notice.
